The L.A. Area Chamber led a delegation of nearly 100 business leaders
and local elected officials to our state's capital for a one-night, one
day trip, June 10-11, 2009. Participants spent the day meeting with
state lawmakers, members of the governor's administration and other
decision makers on issues including transportation, education,
infrastructure, general business issues, health care, energy and the
environment. The trip also included a special luncheon with lawmakers
and high-ranking state officials.

Access Sacramento participants were divided into seven teams and met with more than 50 lawmakers including Assembly Speaker Karen Bass, Senate Pro Tem-elect Darrell Steinberg, outoing Senate Minority Leader Dick Ackerman and Senator Denise Moreno Ducheny, Chair, Senate Budget & Fiscal Review Committee.
