Update on CA High-Speed Rail and Transportation Funding Proposals

Tuesday, June 2
9 - 10:30 a.m.

By 2029, California's High-Speed Rail (HSR) system will run from San Francisco to Los Angeles in under three hours. In the interim, the HSR's Authority is working with regional partners to implement a rail modernization plan that will invest billions of dollars in local and regional rail lines to meet the state's future rail needs. Join us for our June meeting to hear an update on this effort from the Authority's Southern California Regional Director, Michelle Boehm.

Members will also hear from Mark Watts, interim executive director for Transportation California, who will provide an update on the State's 2015-2016 transportation budget and the various funding proposals currently under consideration in Sacramento.
