Transportation and Air Quality Forecasting
Tuesday, Oct. 13
10 - 11:30 a.m.
The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) is currently updating the long-range Regional Transportation Plan which serves as a basis for transportation decision-making in the region. At the same time, the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) is in the process of developing the 2016 Air Quality Management Plan, which is a comprehensive and integrated plan that focuses on ozone and particulate matter standards. Both plans generally inform each other for analysis and recommendations that effect growth and transportation in Southern California.
Join us for an update on the progress of the two respective plans with the Executive Director of SCAG, Hasan Ikhrata, and the Deputy Executive Officer of SCAQMD, Philip Fine, as we discover what's being forecasted and how it will effect the business community.
