State Drought Regulations & DWP's New Chief Sustainability Officer

Friday, Aug. 15
10 - 11:30 a.m.

State regulators recently adopted an emergency regulation that permits local water agencies to fine water users up to $500 per day if they violate mandatory conservation measures. Join us for a conversation with Frances Spivy-Weber, vice-chair of the State Water Resources Control Board as she discusses the new regulation and what residents and businesses can do to reduce their water use.

Members will also hear from Nancy Sutley, Los Angeles Department of Water & Power's (DWP) newly appointed chief sustainability and economic development officer. The former White House Advisor and L.A. Deputy Mayor will discuss her new role and goals for the utility.
