LEADERSHIP L.A. CLASS OF 2012 GRADUATES

Leadership L.A. Class of 2012 celebrated the completion of its fellowship on Monday at the Music Center of Los Angeles. "The program exceeded my expectations and I know that I will be a better leader in this city because of Leadership L.A. Historic regional sports network comes to L.A.
Time Warner Cable Deportes and sister network, Time Warner Cable SportsNet, are the new homes for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Galaxy and Los Angeles Sparks. Upon its debut, TWC Deportes made history as the first Spanish-language regional sports network in the country and the first to bring the Lakers to the Spanish-speaking television audience. Chinatown ICO sent back to L.A. City Council committee
This week the Interim Control Ordinance that would have banned formula stores from Chinatown was referred by the full L.A. City Council back to the Planning & Land Use Committee. Thank you to all our Chamber members who made calls and sent emails to Councilmembers Joe Bucaino, Tony Cardenas, Mitch Englander, Bernard Parks and Jan Perry to thank them for their vote.

Hurricane Sandy corporate aid tracker
Businesses across the country have mobilized their expertise, capabilities and community resources to assist with the response to the storm. Business pledges of more than $98 million have been announced in support of recovery efforts. The Chamber applauds Chamber member companies who have assisted in the relief efforts.
