Leadership L.A. explores art and culture in Los Angeles On Friday, Leadership L.A. 2013 heard from leaders on how investment in the arts is an important component to the 21st century workforce. "It all starts with somebody's spark of imagination. How do you create something that is 300 feet long, 200 feet wide and includes various electronic components? That all comes from imagination as a designer. For us, that is why we are investing and preparing kids for the future,” said James Herr (SCLN Board Member & LSC ’06), The Boeing Co., on why it's important to continue to support art-based programs in underserved communities.
