Make a difference: Apply for Leadership L.A. 2013
Since 1987, the Leadership L.A. fellowship has been helping L.A.'s up-and-coming leaders expand their influence, develop their careers and gain insight into their community. The fellowship is for individuals who are becoming increasingly active in community leadership roles and need more understanding of the issues shaping the City and County. Help students access Cash for College
The Chamber's Cash for College team is recruiting volunteers to help high school seniors fill out financial aid applications during the Super Saturday workshops held throughout L.A. 	SCORE LA receives public relations grant SCORE LA was recently selected from a pool of 26 nonprofit organizations to receive the Don Perkins Community Service Grant presented by the Public Relations Society of America, Los Angeles Chapter (PRSA-LA). 	Regional Connector breaks ground Last month Metro began work on the $1.34 billion Regional Connector in downtown Los Angeles. Construction crews are currently working to relocate underground utilities. The Connector will open in 2019. Read more.
