With more than 1,650 members ranging from multi-national conglomerates to individual entrepreneurs, the Chamber represents a diverse membership of businesses from across Los Angeles County.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Los Angeles County is the small business capital of the world with more than 200,000 small businesses. From start-up companies, to minority-owned firms, to rapidly expanding businesses, the L.A. Area Chamber proudly supports small business owners and their employees through a variety of business and professional development programs. Learn more.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Each year, the Chamber provides more than 50 business development programs and signature events to members and the public.
GLOBAL INITIATIVES: Southern California relies on the global economy. The Chamber works to advance global trade in the region and help local businesses build international relationships and expand global reach. Check out our Global initiatives.
INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY: The Chamber's Bixel Exchange initiative helps technology entrepreneurs thrive. This is done by combining the power of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and L.A.'s dynamic tech community with the resources of the U.S. Small Business Administration's Small Business Development Center. Bixel Exchange offers programs and services that mentor, educate, and connect.
EDUCATION: Together with its affiliate UNITE-LA, the Chamber provides 10,000 jobs and internships to L.A. youth and a variety of workforce development programs for employers and young job seekers.
LEADERSHIP: Working in partnership with the Southern California Leadership Network (SCLN), the Chamber graduates nearly 100 future leaders through its Leadership Southern California, Leadership L.A and California Connections programs.
ADVOCACY: The Chamber supports seven public policy committees and three industry councils, which collectively help set the Chamber’s advocacy agenda. Each year, the Chamber leads hundreds of business leaders to Los Angeles City Hall, Sacramento and Washington, D.C. to advocate for a strong economy and desirable living environment throughout the L.A. region.
