Issues Vital to L.A. Area Business
The L.A. Area Chamber works to create and sustain a favorable business environment in which all businesses can grow and prosper. The Chamber actively advocates on numerous issues relevant to the business community in the L.A. area. Below are subject areas where these key issues fall. Visiting those areas will provide you with the related materials to the topics in which we are engaged.
You too can add your voice in public policy at the Chamber by joining one or some of our eight public policy councils that make recommendations to the Chamber’s leadership on important issues, including ballot measures. Policymakers listen when the business community is actively engaged in civic matters. Our member-driven advocacy efforts focus on the vital issues that affect our economy and quality of life. The councils include Education & Workforce Development; Energy, Water & Sustainability; Global Initiatives; Health Care; Innovation & Technology; Land Use, Construction & Housing; Small Business; and Transportation & Goods Movement. These councils meet on a regular basis and are open to all members. Join today!
