The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) is one of the largest housing authorities in the country, responsible for the nearly 10,000 public and assisted housing units and management of 58,000 Section 8 vouchers with total annual revenues of $1 billion. Join us at our next meeting, with Douglas Guthrie, President and CEO of HACLA, who will help us understand the impact of the newly proposed federal budget by the Trump Administration. Guthrie will guide us through understanding the HACLA, the effects of the federal budget cuts in our community, and what that means for Los Angeles.

In continuation of our efforts to combat the housing crisis and homelessness issues in Los Angeles, we will be discussing our federal legislative agenda for the Chamber's ACCESS Washington, D.C advocacy trip set for May 22-24, 2017.
