Much uncertainty still exists over the future of the Eurozone, the leadership transition in China and the prospects for dealing with the U.S. long-term fiscal dilemma. At this meeting, Dr. Ira Kalish of Deloitte LLP will examine these issues and offer his view on the likely path of the global economy. He will discuss the U.S., Europe, China, Japan and Latin America. Dr. Kalish will also discuss the implications for the local economy.

Dr. Ira Kalish is director of Global Economics at Deloitte Research. He is an expert on global economic issues, as well as the effects of economic, demographic and social trends on the global business environment. He has written reports on the economies of Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Mexico and South America. Kalish has also written extensively on global consumer markets. Additionally, he has authored more than 150 articles and reports on economic and consumer trends around the world.
