Join us for a conversation with Los Angeles County Metro Chief Operations Officer Frank Alejandro for a mid-year 2012 update on Metro projects including the recently opened Exposition Line and the Orange Line extension, slated to open at the end of this month. 

 

The Council will also discuss the status of federal transportation reauthorization and progress on AB 1446 to give Metro the authority to extend Measure R, which was one of the Chamber's ACCESS Sacramento advocacy items.
The Transportation & Goods Movement Council addresses all issues related to our region's mobility - highway, rail, air and transit. The council advocates on federal, state and local issues and champions positions that will provide system-wide, regional solutions. The council highlights the importance of transportation and goods movement to the region and nation's economy, while encouraging balanced and sustainable communities.
